· Used Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS): PeopleSoft – PeopleTools 8.40 to manage migration from 7.5 to 8.4
· Managed projects from initiation to implement for 16 HUD/FHA systems for Multifamily and Single Family and worked closely with other HUD contractors including Lockheed Martin in Lanham Datacenter.

Verizon/Bell Atlantic /C&P Telephone 1979 – 2001 Silver Spring, MD
Various positions and responsibilities - Directory Assistance Operator, Service Representative, management, economic analyst and various IT in 22 year tenure.
· Designed, enhanced and maintained over thirty Billing application programs in Service Order and Billing Sub-Systems for CABS (Carrier Access Billing System). CABS is a complex IT system, which collects all the data from multiple switches and computer networks throughout the Bell Atlantic/Verizon region to process all the National carriers Interlata and Intralata tolls for billing. Worked with system engineers and network engineers to design the implementation. CABS was mandated by the MFJ (Modified Final Judgement which broke up the AT&T into regional Phone companies). Resolved over 200 trouble reports, over 90 program abends during CABS production billing cycles – resulting in better client satisfaction and timely delivery of customer bills. Responsible for creating Bill Data Tape (BDT) for access customers and implementation of Billing Output specifications (BOS). Successfully installed all CABS releases. Provided support to billing group which interfaced with carriers and input and analysis for requirements. Provided technical support to other members. BDT contains network switch data and calculations to arrive at the billing for carriers.
· Direct programmers to extract customer data (data mining) from various sources
(mainly CRIS which stands for customer records information system) and to load it into SYBASE databases for DATA WAREHOUSE using UNIX scripts to import data into Sybase. Directed programmers to extract daily/monthly data from mainframe files where COBOL II programs where written/used to prepare data used by UNIX servers. Used SYNCSORT feature in JCL to manage file sizes. Directed programmers use in FTP embedded in JCL to move data to servers and executed UNIX scripts to load the customer data into SYBASE. CRIS is a complex IT system which collects the data from the local central office computer networks to generate monthly residential phone bills.

First the local network switch information is matched to see what premium products the customer can have and this information is passed to telemarketers for product marketing. Considered a subject matter expert, provided high level of hands-on technical expertise to the design, implementation and maintenance.
